Introducing me
I’ve been into photography for about 14 years and have always wanted to share what I capture with my camera, not just have it sit unlooked at on hard drives.
In pursuit of sharing, I have uploaded images to Wikimedia Commons so they can be used on Wikipedia, have a Flickr, sell stock photography, share some photos free in other places, print photo books for family and now – the latest iteration – blog about this passion of mine. It’s way more fun to get your photos out there, however you choose to do it!
As with many worthwhile hobbies, it’s important to develop a thick skin and to get more interested in improvement than defending what you’ve done. Learning that lesson in photography has helped me in plenty of other areas, too – it’s an important life skill!
I’m open, honest, and like to engage in dialogue, in person and online. By day trade I’m a pharmacy scientist in love with all aspects of pathology, diagnostics, and disease-modifying therapies. When time allows I’m taking photos (obviously!), editing photos, travelling, playing board games and video games, gardening, reading, or just hanging out with my husband.
